If you'd like to do some Bible study on your BlackBerry device
you need to take a look at Noah Bible Viewer for BlackBerry. This
product is both intuitive and easy-to-use making it perfect for users
with all levels of experience. In testing it out I was impressed by the
quality of the application. I liked the fact that I was able to move
from book to book, quickly moving to any book of the Bible that I wanted
to see.
If you wish, you can even jump to a specific verse, say John 3:16 or
Romans 8:28. The program gives you the ability to install multiple
versions of the Bible. So, for example, you can have the King James
version and the NIV. Noah Bible Viewer for BlackBerry also lets
you store your Bibles on media cards. You can create bookmarks
and rapidly move through the Bible. I used the bookmarks to mark my
favorite passages so I could quickly find them. Another really cool
feature is the ability to have auto-scroll. To me this is really
nice because you can just sit and read and not have to fiddle with the
controls on your BlackBerry. You can also insert notes with your own
comments or thoughts. I like the fact that you can navigate using "hot
keys" within the program. So, for example, you can press "N" for note,
"G" for go to, "B" for bookmark, and so on. You can download the product
to your desktop or you can download everything right to your
BlackBerry. The company even has an FTP client, called BeFTP, that you
can use to download Bible translations and viewer and put them on your
storage card. Noah Bible Viewer for BlackBerry is nicely done.
Check it out for yourself.
